RESULTS
This education association sends monthly promotions to seminar coordinators and instructional providers in an effort to increase awareness of member services and boost participation in sponsored events. However, response has been poor. The Membership Director seeks to improve results with electronic newsletters targeted to specific segments of the membership and linked to the associations Web site.
Solution
Using Campaign Management tools and services provided by messageREACH, the association posts an opt-in form on its Web site and creates an attention-getting newsletter with graphics and trackable URL links. messageREACH hosts the database and delivers the newsletters to e-mail addresses, automatically tracking "click through" activity by individual recipients according to pre-selected demographics. Reports are used to evaluate interest and target subsequent promotions more effectively.
Process
Accessing our service over the Web, association staff members use the intelliSENDSM Wizard, a software tool provided by messageREACH, to create a newsletter in HTML and an electronic form that members use to update personal information and supply additional data, such as demographics and preferences. Our Campaign Management staff is available to assist with insertion of the URLs, list building and form creation.
messageREACH hosts the association's database and delivers the newsletters, automatically tracking the results, collecting inbound bouncebacks and list removal requests and updating the database. As forms are submitted, messageREACH collects the data in a report. Campaign coordinators can request pie charts and graphs to illustrate the results and build their own reports based on the data.
